What We Believe

We believe that God calls His church to gather together to worship. Through these corporate worship gatherings, we remember, reflect upon, and respond to the works of the Gospel and the great things that God has done for His people.

We also believe that God calls us to offer ourselves as a sacrifice to him through having a lifestyle filled with true and proper worship (Romans 12:1).

The act of worship, as is typically perceived, is not only related to music. Throughout our worship services, we express our worship to God through a multitude of different, biblically based acts, including:
                    • singing & dancing                    • preaching & teaching                          • praying
                                     • reading & interpreting scripture                   • giving offerings
                    • getting baptized                • taking communion                   • sharing testimonies

Purpose & Structure of Our Worship Ministry:

Here at FHCoG, we have a thriving ministry filled with volunteers who serve the church with a focus of organizing, rehearsing, and leading worship services that are offered to our congregation and visitors of the church every week.

Our volunteers provide this ministry with a multitude of unique talents and skills which all help achieve our goal in creating and providing authentic and God-centered opportunities for God's children to come and experience the presence of the Lord.
